Santa Rosa Wellness Spa in Wildomar, California, was preparing to open the doors on their health and holistic products business in August of 2007. They needed a dynamic website to tell the world about the services of their group and to advertise their Grand Opening. The spa would use keyword searches as the primary method of leading potential customers to the site. It would be a search engine-friendly website, offering information on health and wellness, and all the services offered at the center.

The design goal was to put together a brand and a site that would project the elegance and style of the spa itself. We accomplished this through the use of rich and dark colors and high end stock photos. We created a quick-loading site, building it from the ground up. A new Content Management System (CMS) was used, to allow the site to grow as the spa’s services are added. New content can be added easily—new pages, and new tenant details, along with product information, can be included as desired. In the future, the spa might create a community forum, enabling people to comment on health and wellness issues.

The spa has since added a store which was integrated into the site seamlessly, and at a later stage, might develop into an e-commerce operation. All this can be done without changing the fundamental architecture of the site. It’s just that flexible.
